My Name is Mark McColgan I am an Applied Sociology Student at Indiana University of Pennsylvania I am Originally from Glenside, PA which is just outside of Philadelphia. |
Although it's one of the few I've seen I've gotta say that Fortune City is just what I like to see in a virtual community. My interests in Sociology to this point are Community and Urban Studies. So If I was ever going to join one of these, this is the perfect format. | ||||||||||||||||

Be sure to read Paul Loeb's Generation at the Crossroads It is a book about student activism after the 1960's. Generation X, if we as a generation need to be labled at all, is not a bunch of lazy push overs. For example, Loeb states that the end of Aparthied in South Africa was encouraged by student activism in the mid 1980's! In America!!
